St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) for our 4D TCU Cardiac/Neuro Telemetry Step Down unit located within the Edgewood Hospital.
Unit: 36 bed.
Shift/Hours: Part Time, 24 hours/week, 7A-7P.

Responsibilities
Utilize customer service skills when greeting patients/visitors and answering telephone.
Complete worklist tasks triggered by physician orders or nurse-generated tasks under the direct supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
Provide direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN.
Assist patients with activities of daily living, provide personal care, comfort, and maintain a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients.
Qualifications
Education, Credentials, Licenses
High school Diploma / GED
Specialized Knowledge
Ability to perform tasks such as vital signs
Demonstrate knowledge of body mechanics
General computer skills and applications
