Accounts Receivable Assistant
The Accounts Receivable Assistant supports payment processing, maintains customer accounts, and assists with collections to ensure accurate and timely receivables. If you are detail-oriented, organized, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this role offers the opportunity to support a key function within the business while building strong accounting and customer service skills.
Location: Ephrata, PA
Schedule: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
What you get to do:
Accurately apply Accounts Receivable payments (lockboxes, ACH/wires, and credit cards) and process daily credit card transactions
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account information through consistent data entry
Contact customers regarding skipped invoices, discrepancies, and past-due balances to support timely resolution
Monitor aged receivables and assist with collections to ensure payment within terms
Provide backup support for the Accounts Receivable team and assist with cross-training as needed
Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal teams and customers
Support month-end close activities and other accounting tasks as needed
What you bring:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous Accounts Receivable experience required
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills for both internal teams and customers
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
