Position Overview
Job Summary: The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a welcoming, organized, and efficient front-desk experience. This role supports daily office operations by managing incoming communication, access, and mail.
Roles and Responsibilities: Answers incoming phone calls and routes them to the appropriate staff members; greets visitors warmly and provides assistance as needed; checks in guests and ensures they follow proper sign in procedures; verifies visitor appointments and notifies staff of arrivals; lets authorized individuals into the building and monitors access to maintain security; maintains a clean, organized, and professional reception area; receives inbound mail, packages, and deliveries; sorts and distributes mail to the correct departments or individuals; logs deliveries and ensures timely pickup; supports general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and scheduling; communicates effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth office operations; other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Education: High School / GED; Experience: 0-1 years.
Physical Requirements: Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
