Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), Cardiovascular Operating Room - 12030

As a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST, Cardiovascular Operating Room), you’ll work under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse and within the scope of their practice. The Certified Surgical Technologist provides patient care and performs appropriate segments of the prescribed medical regime for an assigned group of patients and effectively interacts with patients, significant others, and other health‑care team workers while maintaining standards of care.

Qualifications

Graduate of Surgical Technologist Program required.

Surgical Technologist certification (NBSTSA or NCCT) within 6 months after graduation from an accredited program; Healthcare Provider (CPR) certification within 6 months of start.

Previous surgical services experience preferred, not required.
