Aftercare Supervisor
We are hiring an Aftercare Supervisor for our Bellevue Camp to provide on-site management, mentorship, and instruction to our campers after the camp day ends. Our Aftercare Supervisors are seasoned childcare professionals who are trusted to care for our campers during pick up hours and ensure their wellness after a long day of programs.

Important Details

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, Aftercare runs from 2:30 - 6:00pm. Aftercare Supervisors work from 2:30pm until the last camper is picked up for the day.

One additional paid hour/week for supply shopping and program planning

Opportunity for additional hours substituting for our day camp programs.

Position Duration: Aftercare Training takes place virtually on Friday May 15 @5pm PDT. Aftercare Supervisors are encouraged to take our full staff training June 14 - June 19. Camps run between June 22 - August 21

Compensation Pay is determined based on position, location, additional responsibilities, relevant certifications, and staff tenure. Pay range starts at $22.75/hour

Relevant Certification Bonuses.

Teacher license/Masters in Ed eligible for an additional $200 bonus

Additional $100 - $400 bonus per eligible bonus at end-of-season

In this role you will

Supervise campers by providing age-appropriate, after camp activities while maintaining a safety-oriented environment.

Organize and participate in camp programming, ranging from games to arts & crafts.

Responsible for purchasing weekly aftercare program supplies and snacks (budget will be given based on camp size).

Follow and educate campers on safety protocols to ensure the safety and wellbeing of participants.

Communicate directly with parents when they arrive for pick up.

Your Background

Must be at least 20 years of age by the start of camp

Must have a minimum of 460 verifiable hours (approximately 3 months full-time) of childcare experience to meet our Child Care Licensing requirements

1+ years of experience working in an Aftercare Program or at a Summer Camp strongly preferred

Minimum of Basic First Aid, CPR, and Mandatory Reporter certification by the start of camp
