Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Welder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, repairing, and assembling metal components, specifically refuse and recycling containers. This is a hands‑on position in a fast‑paced shop environment, ideal for someone with solid welding experience and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacture and repair refuse and recycling containers
Perform MIG and Stick welding to meet production and quality standards
Read and interpret basic work instructions or fabrication requirements
Operate welding equipment and related tools safely and efficiently
Inspect finished work to ensure structural integrity and quality
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all shop safety procedures and guidelines
Requirements
Previous experience with MIG and Stick welding required
Familiarity with welding tools, equipment, and fabrication processes
Understanding of safety practices in a shop environment
Must have own welding shield and basic tools
Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting, standing, bending)
Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team
