Position: Carpenter
Shift: 1st Shift (Friday,Saturday,Sunday 8:00am-8:00pm)
Pay: $26.00 per hour + $1.50 Shift Premium
Additional Incentives: Safety shoe reimbursement
Skills: Minimum of 6 months operating a Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) forklift or Reach Truck
Role Purpose
Responsible for materials management, tools, unloading/loading, set up and breakdown in the completion of carpentry support of Crating; Receiving, Packing, Inventory, and shipping of storage, display, production, and sales machines, components, and parts.
Key Accountabilities
100% crating of all large spares order, equipment, and tooling.
Loading and unloading of trucks.
Blocking and bracing of containers (2 to 4 per year).
Managing crate planning.
Completes standard crates for inventory.
Maintains, Repairs, stocks used crates from IB and other sources.
Maintain tools and carry out preventive maintenance program.
Maintain lumber minimum stocks, inventory, and place replenishment orders with supervisor.
Ensure all safety equipment is in proper working order.
Complete required reports.
Perform additional duties as required by management.
Train back up.
Required Education and Experience
5+ years of previous carpentry experience
Experience and expertise with all manner of carpentry tools
High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
