Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Technician (PT Tech) to join our healthcare team in Jackson, United States. As a PT Tech, you will play a crucial role in supporting our physical therapists and providing exceptional care to our patients.
Assist physical therapists in delivering patient treatments and therapeutic exercises
Apply and monitor therapeutic modalities, including hot/cold packs
Maintain and sanitize therapy equipment and treatment areas
Guide patients through prescribed exercise routines under therapist supervision
Ensure proper setup and breakdown of treatment areas
Monitor patient progress and communicate observations to physical therapists
Maintain accurate and detailed patient care documentation
Assist with patient scheduling and contribute to efficient clinic workflow
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standardsCollaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care
Demonstrate empathy and support for patients throughout their treatment journey
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong knowledge of physical therapy procedures and medical terminology
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced healthcare environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Physical stamina to assist patients and stand for extended periods
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Detail‑oriented approach to patient care and documentation
Basic computer proficiency
Current CPR certification
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy requirements
Knowledge of safety protocols and infection control procedures
Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and clinic demands
Customer‑focused mindset with a commitment to patient satisfaction
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
