TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Albany, New York.

We're looking for Intensive Care Unit RNs for an immediate travel nursing opening in Albany, NY. The right nurse should have 1‑2 years recent acute care experience.
As an ICU Travel Nurse, you'll be responsible for evaluating and monitoring patients in an ICU setting. You will document and provide physician‑directed care, assess and implement patient care plans, delegate to other care providers, and provide education and support to patient families.
Responsibilities
Provide basic bedside care.
Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication; report any adverse reactions to treatment.
Order and evaluate diagnostic tests.
Take samples for lab work, order corresponding lab work and interpret reports.
Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpreting and recording electronic displays.
Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads, and tubing.
Communicate patients’ conditions to family members.
Physical demands: stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, withstand exposure to chemicals or infectious diseases, and manage patients who may be confused or agitated.
Requirements
ACLS & BLS certifications.
Minimum 2 years acute care experience.
Other certifications may be required before assignment.
