Certified Nursing Assistant
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides basic care to residents and assists them in daily living activities. This includes personal hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, social‑recreational activities, meal services, and other duties as assigned. The CNA collaborates with the nursing department, other departments, medical professionals, consultants, residents, and families to support efficient and economical care and help each resident achieve or maintain the highest practical physical, mental, and psycho‑social well‑being.
Qualifications
Experience in a long‑term care or assisted living environment is preferred.
Current certification as a Nursing Assistant or state‑trained Nursing Assistant, as required by state regulations.
Maintain CPR/First Aid certification per state regulations.
Knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease, other dementias, and related memory impairments is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work as a team.
Ability to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.
