We are seeking a an
Licensed Practical Nurse
(LPN to join our clinical team in
Maine
for the night shift.
Working the
6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
block, you will be the backbone of our evening care, ensuring our residents/patients receive consistent, high-quality medical attention while the rest of the world sleeps. If you value autonomy, bedside care, and a supportive team environment, we want to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care:
Administer medications, treatments, and injections according to prescribed schedules and care plans.
Monitoring:
Conduct regular rounds to assess patient status and respond promptly to any changes in condition or emergencies.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate, real-time electronic health records (EHR) during the overnight shift.
Collaboration:
Provide a seamless hand-off report to the morning clinical team at 7:00 AM.
Support:
Supervise CNAs/CRMAs on shift to ensure all resident needs are met with dignity and respect.
Requirements
Licensure:
Active, unencumbered LPN license in the State of Maine (or Compact license).
Certification:
Current BLS/CPR certification.
Experience:
Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or acute care is preferred, but we welcome motivated new graduates!
Shift Readiness:
Ability to consistently work the 12.5-hour overnight schedule.
Skills:
Strong communication, a "calm under pressure" demeanor, and a genuine passion for patient advocacy.
