About the Position
Electrical Engineering Intern – Louisville, Kentucky – Spring 2026 co-op
Key Responsibilities
Gain hands‑on experience in design and construction of industrial and utility facilities, as well as general buildings.
Work alongside engineers of various experience levels, integrate with multidisciplinary teams and architects.
Learn and apply codes, standards, and software used to develop buildings or facilities.
Under supervision, assist with routine electrical engineering tasks for small to large projects at multiple phases of their life cycles.
Apply principles of electrical engineering to drawing development, calculations, technical writing, and documentation.
Proactively discuss interdisciplinary issues with other engineering teams.
Perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
2 years completed towards an electrical engineering degree (or equivalent). Preference for local candidates.
Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit and strong Microsoft Office skills.
Knowledge of electromagnetism, electrical circuits
etworks, and digital logic.
3.0+ GPA (preferred).
Required Qualifications
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program.
Attention to detail, strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
Basic Microsoft Office skills.
