Responsibilities
Settle on the client’s behalf when appropriate and negotiate reasonable agreements
Handle personal injury case files from start to finish
Represent the client at hearings, trials, mediations, depositions, and litigation
Research case law and premises liability, and gather insurance policies, medical expenses, medical records, and other evidence relevant to the case
Record and update the status of all case files in the case management system
Qualifications
A good understanding of personal injury law, tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, civil and family law, and medical malpractice is desired
State license to practice law and State Bar Association membership is mandatory
Must be computer proficient
Superior research, negotiation, drafting, and communication skills are highly valued
3 years of experience in personal injury litigation or trial experience in medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, or civil litigation practice areas is needed
Compensation
$90,000 - $120,000 yearly
