Oaklin Lane is hiring a Patient Guide to join our neighborhood clinic in Lake Highlands, TX — the person who answers the doorbell and makes every family feel like they’ve found the right place.

You guide them through check-in, answer their questions, and help them feel at home in our neighborhood. This role is the connective tissue between our clinical team and every family we serve — and we treat it that way.

About Oaklin Lane
Oaklin Lane is your neighborhood pediatric therapy clinic — a growing network of purpose-built clinics providing compassionate, expert care to kids from infancy through adolescence. We believe in evidence-backed therapy where hard work feels like play, and progress happens on each kid’s own terms.

What you’ll do

Welcome families with warmth, creating a space where kids and caregivers feel at home from the first hello

Manage patient check-ins and check-outs with accuracy and care

Guide new families through the intake process — collecting demographic, insurance, and consent information

Answer phones, respond to emails, and provide clear, compassionate communication to caregivers and referring providers

Collaborate with the clinical team to keep scheduling smooth and communication clear between staff and families

Help manage daily clinic flow so families feel seen and supported at every step

Support general office operations — scanning, filing, supply organization, and keeping the front desk running well

Who you are
You are:

Warm, organized, and detail-oriented

Someone who genuinely enjoys working with families and children

A natural communicator who stays calm and kind, even on busy days

A team player who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly

Comfortable with technology — EMR systems, phone systems, and basic office software

You bring:

Previous experience in a medical front desk, patient intake, or customer service role (strongly preferred)

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy

A professional, friendly, and empathetic approach

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

What to expect
Schedule:
Full-time · Monday - Thursday · 8:00AM to 6:00PM (with a lunch break) · Four-day work week · No nights or weekends
