Job Description
Comprehensive Early Autism Services (CEAS) provides in-home therapy for young children with autism. The program is based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Employment Type: Part-Time
Salary: Competitive
Responsibilities
Work 1:1 with children ages 2-8 in a highly individualized and supported environment.
Carry out therapy sessions in the client's home.
Work with the child in a number of skill areas, such as conversation skills, fine/gross motor skills, self-help skills, and pre-academic skills.
Integrate the child's family into therapy sessions.
Collect data and make data-based decisions.
Learn strategies and procedures to teach children with developmental delays.
Attend team meetings and coordinate with a team of therapists.
Travel to the home of each client on the therapist's caseload.
Qualifications
This job requires a car and willingness to travel within the cities of Milwaukee, Oconomowoc, Whitewater, and/or other surrounding areas.
Bachelor’s degree or pursuit of degree in psychology, education, child development, or related field.
Experience working with young children or children with disabilities.
Ability to lift approximately 30 pounds and move easily from a seated position.
