Key Responsibilities
Greet customers and take orders (operate POS system and handle cash transactions)
Answer customer questions and assist with product and beverage selections.
Prepare and serve coffee (espresso and drip)
Focused on customer experience first
Answer customer calls with professional phone etiquette.
Maintain and clean espresso machines, grinders, and coffee equipment.
Keep the checkout and coffee bar areas clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Requirements
Experience as a cashier, barista, or in food service
Knowledge of espresso machines and coffee preparation (or willingness to obtain one)
Bilingual candidates are encouraged due to diverse customer interactions
Team-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Ideal Candidate
Genuine interest in bagels and coffee
Ability to maintain customer’s first mentality in a fast-paced setting
Desire to develop through training programs
Has a valid NYC Food Handler’s Permit (or willingness to obtain one)
