As a Barista for Pine Tree Café, you will contribute to our success by consistently providing outstanding customer experience and quality coffee beverages. Along with a professional attitude and food safety responsibilities, our baristas are expected to pursue the growth of their coffee knowledge and develop a passion for the craft.
What you’ll be doing:
Prepare and serve high‑quality coffee and espresso beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks.
Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and providing recommendations.
Process transactions accurately, following system protocols and quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation that is well‑stocked and efficient for daily operations.
Collaborate with team members on inventory levels, including ordering supplies, tracking usage, and minimizing waste.
What we’re looking for:
Must‑haves:
Previous experience as a barista, particularly in a high‑end or specialty café setting.
Demonstrated passion for coffee with enthusiasm for enhancing the customer experience.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both team members and customers.
Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and an efficient work environment.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Nice‑to‑haves:
At least two years’ experience working in a retail environment.
