As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

Benefits

Site location: Milpitas, CA

Schedule: Full‑time, 40 hours per week – Thursday to Monday, 8:30am‑5:00pm

Competitive hourly wage of $20.00 per hour (DailyPay available for GardaWorld employees)

Responsibilities

Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity

Verify identities and control access to secure areas

React quickly to threats or incidentsCheck the proper functioning of alarms and cameras

Document incidents and actions taken

Respond to alarms and conduct on‑site checks

Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents

Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

State security license and additional 32hr BSIS security training

Authorized to work in the U.S.

High School Diploma or GED

21 years old

Active driver's license

Preferably has three+ months of security experience

Must include most up to date resume

Pass an extensive screening process

First aid certification an asset

Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift

Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience a plus

Required Process
Employment is contingent on successful completion of a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.
