As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

Site Location: Milpitas, CA
Set schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Schedule: Wednesday - Sunday, 12:00am - 8:30am
Competitive hourly wage of $21.50 / hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Responsibilities Of Security Shift Lead - Grave Shift
Supervise the security team on your given shift.
Train new officers.
Help manage schedules to make sure you have zero dark posts during your shift.
Act as a liaison between staff and management, ensuring client security requirements are met.
Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity.
Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
React quickly to threats or incidents.
Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
Document incidents and actions taken.
Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
Qualifications Of Security Shift Lead - Grave Shift
You have a state security license and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process).
Be authorized to work in the U.S.
Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED.
Must be 21 years of age.
Must have active driver's license.
Must have one year of security shift lead experience.
Please include your most up-to-date security shift lead resume.
Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process.
First aid certification is an asset.
Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better.
Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a background check and drug screening to be conducted after an offer of employment is extended.
