Position Summary
At The Retreat, the rooftop pool experience is an extension of the vibrant, culture-driven community that defines our exclusive club. The Pool Attendant plays a key role in creating a welcoming, elevated, and thoughtfully curated environment where members can relax, connect, and feel at home.
This role is ideal for someone who leads with hospitality, brings positive energy, and takes pride in delivering intentional, detail-driven service in a dynamic, members-only setting.
Key Responsibilities
Create a warm, engaging, and inclusive poolside atmosphere that reflects the spirit and community of The Retreat
Welcome members and guests with authenticity and professionalism, learning preferences and building rapport over time
Prepare and maintain poolside seating, cabanas, towels, and amenities with a strong attention to detail and presentation
Anticipate member needs and provide proactive service, from towel refreshes to assisting with seating and comfort
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the rooftop pool deck at all timesCollaborate closely with Food & Beverage and Events teams to support a seamless member experience
Uphold pool guidelines and safety standards in a respectful and member-first manner
Support daily opening and closing procedures to ensure a consistent, high-quality environment
Qualifications
Experience in hospitality, lifestyle brands, private clubs, or service-driven environments preferred
Naturally personable with strong communication skills and a community-oriented mindset
Ability to deliver elevated service in a way that feels genuine, not scripted
Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining beautiful, functional spaces
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
Preferred (but not required)
CPR/First Aid certification
Experience in member-based or culturally driven hospitality environments
Work Environment
