PRIMARY PURPOSE
To process low level bodily injury liability claims to determine benefits due; to ensure ongoing adjudication of claims within company standards and industry best practices; and to identify subrogation of claims and negotiate settlements with general supervision.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Process low level bodily injury liability claims by gathering information to determine liability exposure; assign reserve values to claims, make claims payments as necessary, and settle claims up to designated authority level.
Develop and coordinate low level general liability claims' action plans to resolution, return-to-work efforts, and approve claim payments.
Approve and process assigned claims, determine benefits due, and administer action plan pursuant to the claim or client contract.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Support the organization’s quality program(s).
Travel as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
High school diploma or GED; Licenses as required.
Experience
Two (2) years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience or successful completion of Sedgwick's Industry Advancement Program Claims Representative training* required.

For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is $45,000.00 - $55,000.00.
