Central Receiving Facility (CRF)
The CRF is a single-entry point for persons with mental health or co-occurring disorders from Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties. It operates 24‑hour continuous operations and serves voluntary clients as well as individuals moved to the facility under the Baker Act or Marchman Act. Services offered include, but are not limited to, assessment, crisis support/emergency services, case management, recovery support, medication initiation and management.

Position Summary
The Behavior Health Technician assists counselors, therapeutic, and nursing staff by providing clinical support to adults and children receiving substance abuse, mental health services or co-occurring disorders in residential programs, inpatient settings, day/evening programs, outpatient programs and/or community-based programs. Responsibilities include establishing a positive helping relationship with clients, assisting them in completing activities of daily living, accessing needed resources, building functional pro‑social relationships, ensuring health, safety, and well‑being, implementing specific interventions per the treatment plan, and monitoring and documenting progress.
Role Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required.
One (1) year of experience working in a behavioral health setting is preferred.
Must be able to obtain provided CPR certification.
Must be able to pass provided CPI training.
Must be able to provide individualized, integrated mental health, substance abuse and co-occurring services to meet the needs of individuals served and their families, as required.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work other behavioral health programs as needed.
Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background
screenings as appropriate.
Must possess a valid driver’s license from the state in which you reside, a good driving record and be insurable under the corporate policy.
Compensation
Base pay ranges from $15.00 to $16.12 an hour based on experience. Shift differential pay ($2.00–$4.00) and supplemental pay (up to 8% of base pay) are applicable to certain programs at Lakeview Center, Inc.
