Salary will be commensurate with level of education and experience.
Career Path I: $47,000 – $66,500

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create an environment of trust and respect to support professional growth.
Facilitate structured coaching cycles grounded in partnership principles, helping teachers set and achieve student‑focused goals.
Establish clear goals for teachers at all career stages and provide differentiated feedback, coaching support and resources aligned to teacher needs and district goals.
Plan and facilitate interactive professional learning opportunities for individuals and groups in collaboration with administrators, district staff and teachers.
Communicate objectives for all professional development, training, lessons, curricular units and projects to students and participants.
Support teachers in implementing professional development aligned with district and school improvement goals.
Primary support for Title I schools: provide technical assistance to improve teacher effectiveness and student achievement, and supply supplemental resources.
Assists with writing, executing and managing grants, including data collection and analysis.
Directly support Title I staff in developing, managing and executing school improvement plans.
Employ varied instructional techniques, media and performance assessments to guide learning toward academic achievement.
Engage in ongoing professional growth through continuing education, conferences and membership in professional organizations.
When assigned, teach approved curriculum while creating a conducive classroom environment appropriate to student maturity and interests.
When assigned, assess student accomplishments regularly and provide progress reports as required.
When assigned, administer and analyze standardized, benchmark and progress monitoring data, adjusting instruction as needed to maximize student success.
Maintain accurate records as required by law, corporation policy and regulations.
Recognize special learning needs, seek assistance from specialists and make appropriate accommodations.
Assist administration with policy implementation, classroom procedures and behavior, maintaining a safe environment.
Serve on building‑level and corporation‑wide committees (e.g., curriculum adoption, test analysis).
Build effective relationships with parents and students through regular communication and availability for conferences, extracurricular activities, etc.
Complete other duties as assigned and maintain a strong attendance record.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Indiana teaching certification in relevant curriculum areas. Instructional coaching training based on Jim Knight work is preferred.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals and government regulations; write reports and proposals; present information to diverse audiences; communicate clearly and concisely in oral and written form; use correct grammar.
Mathematical Skills:
Work with probability and statistical inference; apply fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations; prepare, project, monitor and revise multiple budgets.
Reasoning Ability:
Define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions; interpret various instructions; develop realistic long‑term and short‑term plans for curricular goals.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
