Overview
As a dedicated member of the OnPath FCU team, you will provide cost effective financial services to our members. This role travels to any branch within the region that needs assistance, with opportunities to advance to a permanent branch position or another role that aligns with your passion.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
• Provide exceptional member service with genuine and positive interactions.
• Accurately process routine transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.
• Maintain cash integrity and promote credit union products and services.
• Conduct consultative conversations to cross‑sell opportunities and meet or exceed referral and sales goals.
• Resolve member and internal inquiries regarding policies, practices, and products.
• Assist with branch opening and closing procedures, including preparing currency, verifying cash drawers, and supporting operations.
• Participate in training sessions and team meetings.
• Adhere to all credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including security and fraud protection.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Travel to any branch within the assigned region.
Greet and assist every member with a friendly, positive, and professional demeanor.
Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and other transactions accurately.
Research, troubleshoot and resolve inquiries regarding policies, practices, and products.
Conduct consultative conversations and cross‑sell opportunities such as checking accounts, personal and auto loans, credit cards, refinances, debt consolidation loans, and refer mortgage and commercial loans.
Communicate information on credit union products and services and meet or exceed referral and sales goals.
Understand and interpret credit reports to offer best solutions.
Efficiently process loan documents.
Assist with branch opening and closing procedures, prepare currency and coin shipments, verify cash drawers and vault totals.
Support branch operations by performing administrative tasks and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Participate in training sessions and team meetings.
Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements; report suspicious activity or potential security breaches.
Complete all other duties as assigned.
Experience
Up to 1 year of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
Experience in a sales and/or customer service environment.
Education/Certifications/Licenses
High school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills
Professional courtesy and tact; personal contact with customers and others inside and outside the organization.
Other Skills
Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, statutes, regulations, codes, and standards related to the area of responsibility.
Proficiency with database software and the Microsoft Office suite.
