Middle School Teacher (Math, Science, ELA, and/or Religion)
St. Robert Catholic School in Flushing, Michigan is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Teacher to join our vibrant academic community. We are committed to forming students intellectually, spiritually, and personally within a faith-filled environment. Teaching assignments may include one or more core subject areas, including Math, Science, English Language Arts, and/or Religion, based on candidate strengths and school needs.
Primary Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging instruction in assigned subject area(s) aligned with school curriculum
Foster a positive, structured classroom and homeroom environment
Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
Assess student progress and provide timely, meaningful feedback
Collaborate with administration, faculty, and parents to support student growth
Support and model the Catholic mission of the school in daily interactions
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or related field appropriate to teaching area
Valid teaching certification (or ability to obtain)
Prior teaching experience preferred, especially at the middle school level
Commitment to supporting the Catholic mission and values of the school
Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Additional Requirements
Practicing Catholic preferred (required for Religion instruction)
Completion of background check and Protecting God’s Children program
