Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School is seeking a full‑time Middle School Math and Science Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This position requires dual certification in Middle School Mathematics and Science.
The math component includes teaching grade‑level middle school math, focusing on building strong foundational skills, conceptual understanding, and preparing students for the demands of high school coursework.
The science program follows the SEPUP (Science Education for Public Understanding Program) curriculum, an engaging, issue‑based approach that connects science to real‑world challenges. Through hands‑on investigations, collaboration, and critical thinking, students explore meaningful scientific questions that extend beyond the classroom and develop a deeper understanding of how science impacts everyday life.
We are looking for a teacher who:
Supports and actively lives out the mission and core values of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School
Creates an engaging, structured classroom where all students are actively involved in learning
Brings energy, clarity, and strong instructional practices to both math and science
Builds positive relationships with students while maintaining clear expectations
Collaborates well with colleagues and contributes to a strong school culture
Requirements:
Valid Florida teaching certification in Middle School Mathematics and Science (or eligibility to obtain)
Successful completion of fingerprinting and background screening
Completion of all required diocesan training and certifications
Qualified candidates should be passionate about teaching, committed to excellence, and ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of middle school students.
