Job Description
Third Future Schools is a high‑achieving and growing network of charter schools. The network’s school in Waco, TX, Dean Highland Elementary, is looking for a Second Grade ELA teacher. Teachers help students improve academic proficiency and build habits of success by creating a safe and orderly learning environment for their class and for all students in the school. Teachers are supervised by the principal and assistant principal.
Classroom teachers receive extensive support: lesson plans, demonstrations of learning, and student assignments and activities are provided by expert curriculum developers. Teacher assistants assist by making copies and grading papers for the teachers. Teachers have minimal duties and only four days of additional duties per month. The maximum salary for a teacher with three years of demonstrated achievement is $75,000.
