OverNight Front Desk
Snowmass Mountain Lodging, located in Snowmass Village, CO, is looking for an Overnight Front Desk to join our team. If you enjoy working as part of a team and have a motivated and positive attitude, we would love to meet you!
Essential Responsibilities
Check-in and check-out guests.
Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints.
Handle reservations and cancellations.
Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
Reconcile and balance accounts from the day shift.
Post room charges and other transactions to guest accounts.
Prepare and distribute daily financial reports.
Verify billing accuracy and correct discrepancies.
Update room availability and manage the room inventory.
Process payments and handle cash transactions.
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
Recognize and report safety hazards.
Managing front desk activity and handling guest check-ins and check-outs.
Ensuring customer satisfaction by scheduling wake‑up calls and other concierge activities according to guest preference.
Handling customer requests and complaints and directing other employees or departments accordingly.
Managing and updating all official documentation pertaining to the role.
Ensuring that all end‑of‑day activities have been successfully executed by employees in all departments.
Answering calls and queries related to potential booking.
Security walkthrough.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Previous hotel and night audit experience preferred.
Proficiency in hotel management software and basic accounting software.
Valid driver’s license required.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
