We are an independent PK-8 school dedicated to educating the whole child through strong relationships, academic excellence, and an engaging, student-centered learning environment. We are seeking a passionate Spanish Teacher to join our collaborative and supportive faculty team.
Position Details
Title: Spanish Teacher (Grades 3-8)
Classification: Exempt (Salaried)
Reports to: Head of School
Schedule: Full-Time; 7:30 am - 3:30 pm
Occasional evenings or weekends may be required for school events.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
State teacher certification preferred
Strong proficiency in Spanish and language instruction
Communication and collaboration skills
Duties and Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Head of School, the Spanish Teacher will:
Provide engaging Spanish instruction aligned with SC state standards.
Plan and present creative, multi-sensory lessons (kinesthetic, tactile, auditory, and visual).
Foster a safe, structured, and positive classroom environment.
Maintain clear and professional communication with students, families, colleagues, and administrators.
Implement discipline policies with fairness and consistency.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Actively participate in school life, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Comply with all Mason Preparatory School policies and procedures as outlined in faculty, student, and employee handbooks.
