Responsibilities
Provide logistics support analysis to Fleet inquiries
Manage all Aviation Life Support Systems (ALSS) paperwork and logsets for all ALSS gear in the E-6 Community
Compile and process aviation flight and maintenance line data from Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activity (OOMA) Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS) into easy-to-read narrative and metrics that maintenance managers utilize as their primary management tool for identifying system degradation, logistic management effectiveness, high cost drivers and maintenance training deficiencies
Perform extensive source data queries from OOMA database through DECKPLATE and Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information Systems (NALCOMIS) ADHOC programs for use in trend analysis, component failure rates, material usage, manpower expended, and effective documentation process
Respond to technical, logistics support analysis, and supportability questions from fleet and other E-6 community personnel
Required Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience in operational logistics support/maintenance engineering
Bachelor’s degree in business, science, mathematics, logistics, supply chain management, or other related field
High school diploma or equivalent and 6 additional years of acquisition or operational logistics management may be substituted for a degree
In depth experience in conducting technical analysis of ILS requirements relating to configuration and inventory management applicable to the E-6 aircraft
Extensive knowledge of aircraft and engine logbooks in accordance with COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2
Extensive experience with OOMA configuration management
Extensive experience researching WUC/TEC and part number for correct update of the E-6 baseline including engines, SE, and ALSS
In depth experience using NALCOMIS and DECKPLATE
Preferred Qualifications
10 years of experience in Aircraft Maintenance Logs and Records, as well as Configuration Management
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Currently hold or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
