Job Title
Warehouse Maintenance Associate
Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining warehouse facilities, grounds, and equipment through preventative maintenance and basic repairs. This role also supports daily operations by cleaning work areas, operating mobile equipment, and ensuring a safe, organized environment.
Pay
$17.50
Hours
7:30am-4pm M-F with OT on Sundays
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform general facility cleaning, including:
Removing trash from warehouse and grounds
Cleaning restrooms and break rooms
Sweeping floors and dusting shelves
Breaking down and disposing of excess boxes
Monitor and remove recycling materials throughout the building
Maintain exterior warehouse grounds, including emptying outdoor trash containers
Operate mobile equipment safely and efficiently
Perform minor repairs on equipment and small motors
Complete light carpentry work using hand and power tools
Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and hazardous materials guidelines
Additional Duties
Perform other tasks as assigned based on operational needs
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Basic reading, writing, and math skills (high school level)
Ability to operate mobile equipment and small power tools
Mechanical aptitude for small motor repair
Basic carpentry skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to multitask and adapt to changing workflow demands
Reliable attendance and ability to meet productivity standards
Minimum Qualifications
Education & Experience:
At least 1 year of prior work experience
Minimum 6 months of experience involving physical labor such as lifting, standing, walking, bending, and similar activities
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
Ability to lift/carry:
Up to 30 lbs continuously
Up to 50 lbs frequently
Up to 70 lbs occasionally
Ability to push/pull up to 70 lbs of force
Frequent use of hands for gripping and grasping
Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and twisting
Ability to work in varying temperatures
Willingness to work assigned shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed
