Job Description
Copeland is seeking a Support Center Technician to provide technical assistance, troubleshooting, and support for refrigeration and controls systems used in food retail and commercial environments. The role involves collaborating with field technicians, engineers, and customers to diagnose issues, develop solutions, and improve system performance.
Responsibilities
Serve as primary contact for clients and internal teams for technical assistance related to refrigeration and control systems.
Provide remote and on‑site support to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues involving compressors, valves, controls, and refrigerant circuits.
Collaborate with field technicians and engineers to resolve complex technical challenges quickly.
Maintain accurate records of support requests, troubleshooting steps, and solutions.
Generate system performance reports and recommend improvements.
Contribute to creating technical documentation and knowledge base materials.
Conduct training sessions and develop instructional resources for technicians and clients.
Work Schedule
Standard business hours with participation in a rotating on‑call schedule.
Required Qualifications
2 years of experience in BAS, BMS, or facility control systems.
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills in electrical or control systems.
Ability to collaborate effectively with customers, technicians, and engineers.
Availability to participate in a weekly on‑call rotation.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with food retail case controllers.
Previous field or contractor installation experience.
Proficiency reading and troubleshooting electrical prints and communication systems.
Remote Work Arrangement
This role is fully remote but may require travel to a Copeland site to collaborate with the team or customers as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary of $62,000–$82,000 annually plus on‑call stipend.
Medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), paid parental leave, vacation, and holiday leave.
