Special Education Teacher / Learning Specialist

Dallin Elementary School is looking for a long-term substitute Special Education Teacher for February – June 2026, to cover for a teacher on a leave of absence.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Special Education Preferred
Two or more years of successful teaching experience in Special Education
Massachusetts Certification in Special Education Preferred (Moderate/Severe)
Reports To:
Special Education Coordinator & Building Principal
Job Goal:
Responsible for planning instruction and/or curricula adaptations for included special needs students which allow students to meet high standards and success in typical settings.
Performance Responsibilities
Provide direct instruction to students enrolled in special
Plan and modify regular
Consult with regular education
Monitor student progress in regular
Develop IEP, determine goals and objectives
Prepare progress
Organize and chair annual Team
Administer testing for evaluations and end-of-year
Maintain contact with
Attend building Learning Team
Perform other tasks as assigned by building Principal/Special Education
Terms of Employment:
Long Term Substitute – April – June 2026

$319 to $344 Per Day
