Responsibilities
Retrieve parts from stock or place special orders to fill invoices
Load delivery vehicle with necessary parts and ensure safe, timely deliveries to wholesale customers
Process returns with the Parts Counterperson or Parts Manager
Pick up parts or supplies from outside vendors as required
Ensure all parts are paid for upon delivery and secure signatures from charge account customers
Hand collected payments and signed invoices promptly to the cashier
Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor with customers and coworker
Ensure delivery vehicle cleanliness and report any service issues to the Parts Manager
Assist with the check-in process for daily deliveries and help organize inventory
Keep storage areas clean, organized, and clearly labeled
Support stock replenishment and assist with bin counts for inventory management
Adhere to all traffic laws, driving safely and courteously
Deliver parts according to route instructed by Parts Manager and communicate regarding most efficient routes for delivery
Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
Must have a clean driving record and hold a valid driver’s license
Must be willing and able to submit to a Background Check and Drug Screen
Effective communication, organizational and time management skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Friendly, approachable, and maintains a positive outlook
Open to feedback and motivated to develop skills
