Job Description
Red Rocks Amphitheater is a world‑famous open‑air venue located in Morrison, Colorado. The Concessions Grill Cook creates flavorful, high‑quality food for guests, ensuring that all food is prepared under Food Safety Guidelines set by the Department of Health (DOH) and Aramark’s policies.

This is an hourly, seasonal, part‑time position. Work may include holidays, nights, or weekends as needed.

Compensation
Hourly rate: $22.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities

Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.

Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment and communicate promptly when assistance is required.

Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items as needed.

Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers.

Bake, roast, broil, steam, grill, and use a variety of cooking methods on meats, vegetables, and other foods.

Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established guidelines.

Ensure compliance with food temperature and documentation requirements throughout the event.

Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils in accordance with guidelines.

Communicate clearly and concisely with stand leads, stand workers, and cashiers.

Maintain excellent, friendly, and efficient customer service and a positive demeanor toward guests and co‑workers.

Secure company assets.

Accept constructive feedback and provide ideas and concerns to and from leadership.

Physical Demands
May require lifting, bending, pushing, pulling of up to 25 pounds, extended walking and standing, and exposure to outdoor weather conditions.

Qualifications

At least 18 years of age.

Experience as a cook in a related field.

ServSafe or equivalent Food Safety Certification (required); training provided upon hire.

Basic math and counting skills (required).

Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, meet production/service time schedules, and adapt to changes.

Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Willingness to accept change and new procedures.

Strong guest‑satisfaction skills.

Physical capability to lift, carry, push, and pull as required.
