Summer Bar Shift Manager

Serve up summer in our new social space. New to Sherwood Forest, Summer Social is a vibrant space where guests can relax, eat, drink and connect. Bringing families and friends together with a lively atmosphere and a large outdoor screen showing sport, films and family entertainment.
What you'll be doing
Oversee daily shift operations to deliver an exceptional guest experience
Lead and support the team, fostering a positive and proactive work environment
Achieve budgeted sales targets and ensure efficient staff deployment
Maintain high service standards and compliance with brand expectations
You may be required to work in other units during adverse weather conditions

Your working hours
Please note this is a fixed‑term contract until September 2026.
Full‑time, your working hours will fall between 9am - 10pm
You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 160 hours over a 4‑week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
This role includes weekends and bank holidays
About you
Due to bar service, applicants must be aged 18 years or over
Ability to build relationships with colleagues and lead the team
Excellent communicator
Naturally cheerful, patient and friendly
Professional, approachable and calm under pressure
