What Success Looks Like
Your Impact
Will be fully trained and capable to do all job duties within the housekeeping department, laundry, PA (morning and swing), room attendant and inspector.
Ability to start your shift ready to jump in and help with whatever is needed, in all departments.
Maintains department equipment and supply inventory levels appropriate to property requirements.
Ensures the security of all housekeeping supplies, equipment, and inventory by establishing and ensuring adherence to security standards.
Follows all safety procedures. Reports all unsafe conditions immediately. Uses equipment and chemicals only as intended.
Conducts training on job standards and areas of responsibility as needed.
Launders, alters and repairs linens, towels and other items in accordance with established standards.
Provides regular and on-going communication with all departments in order to keep staff informed of updates, changes and/or problematic situations.
Advises guests, clients and team members on housekeeping matters.
Maintains on-going communication with all team members.
Assists fellow housekeeping team members when possible and appropriate.
Keeps work area and inventory clean and organized.
Attends all mandatory staff meetings and training sessions.
Responding to calls for spill cleanup, trash removal, general cleaning and straightening of public or back of the house areas.
Assures that we exceed guest expectations by being responsive, engaged and following-through on all requests.
Pays special attention to detail.
Clean and maintain all guestrooms to property specific standards.
Maintain supplies and organization of housekeeping cart.
Check all rooms and report any damage, repair needs, or loss of supplies.
Clean and replenish designated number of rooms within assigned shift.
Provide guests with professional, efficient, prompt, and courteous service.
Monitors cleanliness of all public areas both inside and around the property.
Greets and warmly engages guests.
Ensures all equipment is used only as intended.
Complete tasks as assigned by Housekeeping Manager and/or General Manager.
What You Bring
Prior housekeeping or related cleaning experience preferred.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques/chemical applications a plus.
Desire to work in a fast-paced role
Full flexibility, weekends, and holidays. This will mainly be a mid-shift position but hours could fluctuate.
