We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced, hospitality‑focused organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Ideal candidates are dependable, customer‑service‑centric, and work well in a team. Demonstrating a strong level of communication and interpersonal skills, a Server will be processing orders and serving food and beverage items to customers, ensuring 100% guest satisfaction. Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work weekends and holidays, as needed.
Responsibilities
Maintain a professional appearance at all times
Provide prompt and efficient customer service
Display knowledge of the F&B menu
Take guests' food and/or drink orders and turn them in to kitchen, bar, etc.
Serve beverages and prepared meals to guests in an accurate and timely manner
Adhere to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies including confirming legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated guests
Check back to ensure guest satisfaction; replenish items as necessary
Suggest and serve dessert, coffee and other items as applicable
Handle all cash and/or credit cards for payment following all standard operating procedures
Keep tables, dining room and workstation(s) sanitized and organized
Listen and respond to customer complaints
Perform clean‑up and closing procedures as assigned by manager
Perform all other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager
Education and Experience Requirements
1–2 years of food service experience
Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent
A thorough understanding of fine and casual dining
Must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law
Must possess excellent customer service skills
Must be dependable
Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment
Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to work in a team environment
Working Conditions
Physical activity including long periods (6–8 hours) of standing, walking, bending, and scooping
The employee will be required regularly to reach with arms and hands
The employee will occasionally be required to lift up to 30 lbs
Use of sight, reading, and wrist movement to serve meals and beverages, operate food service equipment and clean food service areas
Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception
Noise level is moderate
The employee will be expected to work extended hours during golf and holiday season
The employee will be expected to work weekends and holidays
