Productive Assistant Shop Foreman - North Park Lincoln at Dominion
Our company has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven Productive Assistant Shop Foreman to support daily service operations within a fast-paced environment. This role works closely with the Shop Foreman to ensure efficient workflow, timely vehicle repairs, and effective coordination between technicians and service advisors.

Responsibilities
Assist the Shop Foreman in coordinating daily shop workflow and technician assignments
Monitor repair progress and communicate status updates to service advisors and management
Help ensure timely completion of repair orders and adherence to production goals
Support quality control processes by reviewing completed work for accuracy and completeness
Maintain organization of the shop, including equipment, tools, and work areas
Assist with dispatching work to technicians based on skill level and availability
Track and manage repair order flow to minimize delays and downtime
Communicate with parts department to ensure timely availability of required parts
Help enforce safety procedures and compliance with company and manufacturer standards
Step in to support shop operations as needed to maintain productivity
Requirements
This position requires strong organizational and communication capabilities, along with the ability to multitask in a high-volume service environment. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to supporting team efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or GED required
2+ years of automotive service experience preferred
Prior experience in a shop environment or dispatcher role is a plus
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
