Job Description
The School Aide position will provide support for the University Academy with students and teachers in the classroom.
Job Requirements
Assists with direct instruction of students (individually or in small groups) under supervision of teacher.
Assists in student management (in/out of classroom).
Assists with preparing instructional material and classroom for daily lessons.
Assists with other campus activities/duties as needed: breakfast/lunch duty, pick-up duty, etc.
High school graduation or equivalent.
Preferred: 2 years relevant experience, College hours preferred, Educational Aide certification preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
General subject content knowledge, general knowledge of curriculum and instruction.
Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior, experience working with special needs students.
High School/Trade School degree preferred.
Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
