Job Description
Position Summary
We are searching for a dynamic individual to work with students in our specialized populations of Autism. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of ABA methodology as well as data collection and graphing. Knowledge of VBMAPP, ABLLS, and AFLS is a plus. Willing to train the right candidate.
Qualifications
Appropriate New Jersey Certification required: Pre‑K‑3, K‑6, and Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSWD), Teacher of the Handicap (TOH)
Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Compliance with the NJ FIRST Act
Successful criminal history clearance
Proof of U.S. citizenship or appropriate employment authorization
Proficiency in instructional technology
Terms of Employment
10‑month contract. Salary and benefits as determined by the Board of Education and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Compensation
In accordance with the BOE/FTEA collective bargaining agreement, the salary range for this position in the 26/27 SY is Step 1 BA/BS ($68,023) – Step 18 PhD/EdD ($99,380). Compensation will be commensurate with experience and education.

Performance is reviewed annually in accordance with NJ State law and the provisions of the Board of Education policy on evaluations for certificated staff.
