
Laborer I - 90 Days STS (South Region)

Job Title
Seasonal Laborer I – South Region (May through September)
Work Hours
37.5 hours per week. Work shifts vary, including weekends and holidays.
Location
South Region Office, 695 Hillside Street, Milton, MA. Assignment may rotate among multiple parks and forests.
Salary
Hourly rate: $17.00 (non‑negotiable). Salary is based on hours worked; the position is full‑time.
Responsibilities
Perform laborer duties associated with conservation and maintenance work, including cleaning restrooms and site buildings.
Cut grass, rake leaves, water plants, remove rubbish, and beautify parks, campgrounds, reservations, beaches, and facilities.
Use various hand tools as required.
Operate motor vehicles and light trucks, loading and unloading supplies and equipment.
Greet and assist park visitors, providing information about the facility.
Collect fees based on assignment and maintain a current and valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License if required.
Perform other related duties as requested.
Qualifications
First consideration given to applicants who apply within the first 14 days.
Minimum entrance requirements: None.
Valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License may be required for certain duties.
