At Mission Point Resort—Mackinac Island’s only full-service, casually elegant resort—our Bars & Lounge team plays a key role in delivering warm, memorable hospitality. We are seeking an energetic, knowledgeable, and guest-focused **Bartender** to craft quality beverages, provide outstanding service, and help create an inviting atmosphere for guests from around the world.---**About the Role**The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages with consistency, accuracy, and professionalism. This role includes guest interaction, cocktail preparation, inventory support, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring all alcohol service follows state laws and resort standards.You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment where teamwork, communication, and hospitality are essential. Successful bartenders demonstrate excellent guest service skills, efficiency under pressure, and a positive, outgoing attitude.## Qualifications**What We’re Looking For*** **Experience:** 1+ years bartending or beverage service experience preferred; resort or high-volume experience a plus* **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent* **Skills:** Strong cocktail-making knowledge, ability to upsell, and familiarity with POS systems* **Guest Service:** Warm, personable, and attentive with the ability to create memorable experiences* **Professional Traits:** Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to maintain composure in a busy environment* **Certifications:** Must meet state requirements for alcohol service (TIPS or similar certification preferred)* **Physical Requirements:** Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 lbs., and work in a fast-paced setting* **Location Requirement:** Must be able to live and work on Mackinac Island during the season---**What We Offer**We support team members who help bring our dining experiences to life.
