Volunteer Reading Tutor — One-on-One Help for Students

NYC Service is seeking volunteer tutors to help elementary school students improve their reading skills in Longwood, Bronx. By committing to at least one hour a week, you can make a meaningful impact using Reading Partners' structured curriculum. No prior experience is required; you only need a positive attitude towards young learners. Tutors must complete an application, a 1.5 hour orientation, and a background check. Sessions are Monday through Thursday between 8:00 AM and 2:30 PM.
