DayTime Thur 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM; Fri 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You'll Do

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and communications location.

Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, lobbies, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and assist with visitor management processes in alignment with location protocols.

Support day‑to‑day operations by communicating clearly with site personnel, assisting with directional inquiries, and following post orders related to after‑hours access, deliveries, and/or restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements

At least 6 months of security‑related experience is required.

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
