Job Responsibilities
Success Coaches serve as students' primary point of contact and will guide students through registration, orientation, financial aid, academic advising, counseling, and career services.
Provides ongoing navigation and support to an assigned caseload of students, including troubleshooting, determining eligibility for benefits, locating student resources as requested.
Refers students to appropriate academic departments and performs other student-related tasks.
Navigating students through the onboarding process.
Coordinating academic support for assigned programs.
Using technology to monitor program and performance progress as appropriate.
Counseling students on financial aid.
Refer students to appropriate counseling services.
Reviewing and accepting onboarding documents.
Receiving and addressing early alert notifications.
Overall office operations.
Maintaining student accountability using technology to monitor program and performance progress utilizing multiple computer software programs, smart boards, and communication technology.
Providing timely feedback to students and supervisors concerning the onboarding process and academic progress.
Prepares, reviews, and submits essential operational and student records, reports, forms, regulatory information, and related documents, including handling financial and educational documents for onboarding.
Minimum Requirements
This position requires a bachelor's degree and experience in student services programs. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience in student services programs.
Preferred Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have experience in academic affairs programs or higher education administration. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Candidates must be able to thrive in a diverse and fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism in the office and providing high-quality customer experiences.
