Nevis School District is a two-section school in Northern Minnesota. We strive to help all students reach their potential. We have a new teacher mentoring program to provide support for new teachers. The Nevis Public School District is seeking to fill a 1.0 FTE Grades 7-12 Mathematics teacher position starting in the fall of the 2026-2027 school year.
Compensation
This position is a 9 month position, 180 Contracted Days 8:00-3:45. Nevis School District has competitive salaries and benefits for its staff members. The salary range for this position is $48,776 – $78,574. Salary and benefits are based on current master agreement salary schedule.
Benefits for Certified Teaching Positions at Nevis School
TRA – 9.81% by District (Employee 8%)
Health Insurance – fully paid single with VEBA (HRA) benefit of $2,200
Life Insurance and AD&D $45,000.00 each (District Benefit)
TSA - 403(b) Match ($150.00 per month) Eligible for Matching after 3 years of service
3 Personal Days
15 sick days per year accumulative to 130 days
30 minute Duty Free Lunch

All Season Game Pass
Salary Range: $48,776 - $78,574 depending on experience degree
Preference for college in the school teaching qualification, and experience teaching high school students.
These positions are 9 month position. (180 Contracted Days)
Required Experience
Must hold or be able to obtain a valid Tier 3 or 4MN license as Elementary Teacher
