Veterinary Receptionist
South Shores Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships with clients and is ready to grow hands‑on skills in patient care.
Responsibilities
Greet clients and pets warmly and check them in and out for appointments
Escort clients and patients to exam rooms and ensure they are comfortable
Gather basic patient history and obtain vital signs
Assist the veterinarian during exams and appointments
Support treatments and procedures as directed by the medical team
Schedule appointments and help manage daily patient flow
Answer phones, address client questions, and provide general hospital information
Process payments and maintain accurate medical records
Contribute to a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment
Schedule
This is a full‑time position with a 4/10 schedule. Availability is required on Saturdays from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation: $14–$16 per hour, for each hour worked

Minimum Qualifications and Skill Set
Previous veterinary experience is required
Experience with Cornerstone is a plus
