Job Summary
As a Claims Administrative Assistant II, you will support the Claims department by performing administrative tasks such as processing drafts and mail, handling lawsuits, preparing and maintaining consolidated reports, and assisting the Subrogation Recovery Unit.
Responsibilities
Assist the efficient operation of the Subrogation Recovery Unit by processing subrogation proceeds and communications in a timely manner.
Facilitate subrogation recoveries by providing accurate collection processes and communications with insurance companies, attorneys, and adjusters.
Maintain accurate workflows for the recovery process, including assignments to attorneys, arbitration, and collection agencies.
Maintain records of incoming receivables to assure accurate accounting of subrogation proceeds.
Perform general administrative tasks for the claims manager, including office functions as required.
Qualifications
Computer, telephone, customer service, and general clerical skills.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong attention to detail and deadlines.
Ability to work without daily supervision.
