Job Description
Third Future Schools is a high‑achieving and growing network of charter schools. The network’s school in Waco, TX, Dean Highland Elementary, is looking for a Fourth Grade Science teacher. Dean Highland Elementary teachers help students improve academic proficiency and build habits of success. They create a safe and orderly learning environment for students in their class and for all students in the school. They are supervised by the principal and assistant principal.
Classroom teachers receive great support. Lesson plans, demonstrations of learning, and student assignments and activities are provided by expert curriculum developers. Teacher assistants make copies and grade papers. Teachers also have minimal duties and only four days a month. The maximum salary for a teacher with three years of demonstrated achievement is $75,000.
